Of minds and bodies

If your mind is strong it can carry your weak body through the gates of hell and back.  If your body is strong your weak mind will never let it reach its potential.  A strong mind and body is the stuff of legends.  Train hard, but reflect back on it and work on the weaknesses.

Some peoples priorities are whack!

Why is it that everyone expects you to just drop off your kids at any strange babysitters house regardless of how well you know them, just to make an appointment that came up at the last minute?  If you ask those people if you can borrow their car for the day the answer would be a resounding "NO, I dont even know you!"  How much sense does that make? If they do say yes, tell them that it is not for you it is for your 16 year old to drive; see how they react to that.  Yet, these same people want me to leave my legacy in the hands of someone that dosent even have kids.  Some people are too stupid to deal with.

Knowing what to do does not get the job done.

I spent the day in Reno shopping with my wife and  kids and it was getting late, so we decided to stay at a hotel and continue in the morning.  Now usually I leave the wife and kids outside while I "toss" the room, that is to say I check every nook and cranny.  Sometimes you find, porn, weapons, money, pictures or maybe even drugs so I do it for the safety of the kids.

Welcome to Survivology101 Blog

What is Survivology? It is the art, science, and psychology of survival.  It is my opinion that no one is completely devoid of all applicable survival skills and abilities.  I believe that all the things that we do on a daily basis are related in a giant web.  I use the web example because if you manipulate any portion of a web that manipulation flows through all other portions of it.  Life is much like this, in that the decisions that we make daily effect all other portions of our life either directly or indirectly.
