In this video I use coppersmithing techniques to make a penannular broach to be use as a kilt pin, hat pin or small blanket or cloak pin. This is a perfect project to celebrate St Patrick's Day in 2021. A broach like this is the historic equivalent to a medieval safety pin. Make a couple and pin them on your gear to have in any emergency. They are plenty adequate to pin a scarf or even a wool blanket. today in the shop Ill show you a quick and simple way to build these with minimal tools or experience. After you finish one or two then I encourage you to go bigger and more elaborate. The sky is the limit when you learn how to make what you need.
